The deal between you and us
2ldr; is an AI-collaborative presentation platform owned by Ed.Pro.AI. By using the service you agree to these terms. They are written in plain English and represent a best-effort statement of intent — not formal legal counsel.
Last updated: 2026-05-11.
1. Who can use 2ldr;
- You must be 13 or older.
- You must use the platform for lawful purposes consistent with these terms and the Privacy Policy.
- If you're using 2ldr; on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
2. License scope (v1 beta)
2ldr; is offered free of charge to the following named organizations during the beta period:
- Stages Learning
- TeachUpbeat
- FableVision Studios
- Exceptional Lives
- IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare)
Use of 2ldr; by any organization not listed above requires written permission from Ed.Pro.AI. Email licensing@2ldr.ai to inquire.
This is a statement of intent, not formal legal language. The named-org scope reflects the orgs we have explicit agreements with. When the platform commercializes (Pro tier with paid subscriptions), the licensing model will change — current named-org users will be grandfathered into a free-forever tier per a separate notice.
3. What you can do
- Create review decks, populate them with your content, share access via signed or public URLs.
- Participate in deck reviews — post notes, propose edits, add agenda items, vote.
- Hand the downloaded
2ldr.mdmarkdown to your own AI agent (Claude Code, Claude.ai, or any LLM) and have it operate on your behalf following the documented protocol. - Export your data at any time via the in-product Export endpoint.
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time.
4. What you cannot do
- Use 2ldr; in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property of others.
- Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to penetrate our security — with the exception of good-faith security research disclosed responsibly to security@2ldr.ai.
- Use the platform for automated bulk scraping or to enumerate other users' data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract our source code — though we welcome you to read the protocol spec, which is openly documented.
- Impersonate another person or organization.
- Resell 2ldr; or sublicense access to non-permitted organizations.
5. Your content
You retain all rights to content you create or upload to 2ldr;. By using the service, you grant Ed.Pro.AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, transmit, and display your content solely to operate the service. This license ends when you delete your content.
You are responsible for your content. If we receive credible claims that your content violates third-party rights or these terms, we may remove the content and notify you.
6. The protocol
The 2ldr; Protocol (the JSON schema, the agent-author discourse rules, the post-via-URL bridge, the boarding-pass profile, the cosmic-neon design tokens, the slide-type registry, etc.) is documented openly at 2ldr.ai/protocol and is intended for interoperability. You may implement your own conformant deck renderer or agent against the protocol without further license.
The 2ldr; platform (this hosted service, the source code, the brand mark, the deck-rendering engine) is the property of Ed.Pro.AI. The protocol's documented interfaces are openly licensed for interoperability; everything else is proprietary.
7. Disclaimers
2ldr; is provided as-is. We make commercially reasonable efforts to keep it available, secure, and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
AI-generated drafts (the “Get my take” feature and similar) are produced by third-party AI models (Anthropic's Claude or whichever model you direct it to). We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it or sharing it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ed.Pro.AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of 2ldr;, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total cumulative liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ed.Pro.AI and its officers, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, or damage (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using 2ldr; at any time by deleting your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these terms, with notice where practical. We may discontinue the service or any feature with at least 30 days' notice to registered users.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced with at least 30 days' notice via email to registered users + a public changelog entry. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, Massachusetts. You waive any objection to jurisdiction or venue in those courts.
